Col. Frank Donovan, the commanding officer of the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit, talks to Marines and Sailors of the 24th MEU at their pre-deployment brief in the Camp Lejeune Base Theater, March 21. Donovan discussed the concept of operations and training opportunities for their upcoming deployment and provided guidance on his expectations of all the Marines and Sailors to serve as “Warrior Diplomats” throughout the world. The 24th MEU is scheduled to deploy later this month with the Iwo Jima Amphibious Ready Group.
