Marines with the Command Element, 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit participate in a meritorious corporal and sergeant promotion board after conducting a combat fitness training session Dec. 20, 2011, outside the 24th MEU’s headquarters building aboard Camp Lejeune, N.C. The Marines were evaluated on various Marine Corps-centric activities, such as uniform inspections, Marine Corps knowledge tests, combat fitness training, and drill.
