MARINE CORPS AIR STATION NEW RIVER N.C. – Staff Sgt. Glendon Rawlins, a section leader with Weapons Company, 1st Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment, gives a mission brief to his Marines using a terrain model prior to conducting a simulated Tactical Recovery of Aircraft and Personnel (TRAP) mission aboard Marine Corps Air Station New River, N.C., Nov. 9, 2011. Rawlins, a native of Durham, N.C., was one of about 30 Marines that took part in the TRAP course, which took place Nov. 6-10. The purpose of the course was to train the Marines to conduct TRAP missions for the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit using MV-22 Ospreys and CH-53E Super Stallions for their upcoming deployment.
