Marines with 3rd Battalion, 10th Marine Regiment, attached to the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit’s Battalion Landing Team, fire a 120 mm Towed Rifled Mortar system, often known as Expeditionary Fire Support System (EFSS) at range Mortar Position-5 aboard Camp Lejeune, N.C., Nov. 2, 2011. The firing was part of a Field Training Exercise designed to sharpen the skills of Marines with 3/10 for their upcoming deployment with the 24th MEU.
