Gunnery Sgt. Andre F. McKay, a spectrum manager with the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit, dons and clears his mask after he was engulfed in a cloud of CS gas, commonly known as tear gas, Feb. 3, 2011, in the CS gas training area on Camp Lejeune. 24th MEU Marines took part in a different rendition of the annual chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear defense training requirement by walking down a trail where they responded to a sudden CS gas break-out without warning.
