Manley is an aviation ordnance technician with Marine Medium Helicopter Squadron 365 (rein.), the aviation combat element of the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit (Special Operations Capable).  Manley and 19 other Marines and Sailors spent 10 days in September supporting air operations over the skies of Afghanistan as part of Operation Enduring Freedom.
