24th MEU Photos
A bulldozer from Marine Expeditionary Unit Service Support Group 24 pushes a pile of rubble that used to be a home from the middle of the road. The force of the floodwaters caused by Hurricane Katrina was enough to lift some homes off their foundations. The Marines of MSSG-24 have been working throughout Orleans and St. Bernard parishes to clear roads and fallen trees.
