Violet, La. (Sept. 15, 2005) - During a patrol of Violet, La., Marines from 3rd Platoon, Charlie Company, 1st Battalion, 8th Marines, direct a recently returned resident to the locations of relief and aid centers in St. Bernard Parish. As the citizens of St. Bernard Parish slowly return to their homes, the Marines of Charlie Co. are assisting them by providing food, water and much-needed physical labor to help clear away fallen trees and debris.
