Marines from A Company, 1st Battalion, 8th Marines join Staff Sgt. Edward J. Schneider in moving furniture to access waterlogged sheetrock in order to remove it. Schneider, stationed in New Orleans, requested help from the battalion after his home was severely damaged by floodwaters from storm surge brought on by Hurricane Katrina.
