The 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit’s Maritime Raid Force prepares to board a ship in the Visit, Board, Search, and Seizure exercise during Realistic Urban Training at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Va., July 11, 2014. VBSS operations are primarily conducted by the Maritime Raid Force, a unit sourced from 2d Reconnaissance Battalion, for the purpose of Maritime Interdiction Operations.
