Marines from Assault Amphibian Vehicle Platoon, Battalion Landing Team, 2nd Bn., 2nd Marines, 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit (Special Operations Capable) splashed their vehicles from the USS Tortuga (LSD-46) and headed towards the BLT's assembly area ashore.While ashore the unit conducted several live-fire and maneuver ranges, as well as crew served and small arms weapons shoots.
