Marines and Sailors of the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit took to the streets of Boston May 20, for an early morning run with MEU Sergeant Major, Sgt. Maj. Andy Crout. The United States Navy transported Sgt. Maj. Crout and the Marines and sailors attached to the 24th MEU to Boston on the USS John F. Kennedy. The physical training run was approximately three miles long wrapping through the streets of Boston starting and ending at the pier where the JFK was docked.

The JFK arrived in Boston harbor early on the morning of May 19th for a quick port call on it’s way to New York City’s annual Fleet Week.
