24th MEU supports NMCRS with 5-K run

More than 60 Marines and sailors from the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit Comment Element came together to support the Navy and Marine Corps Relief Society by participating in the its 5-kilometer run here April 29.

The Marines, led by Sgt. Maj. Andy P. Crout, MEU sergeant major, ran the five kilometers in formation flying the unit guidon and calling cadence.

Since its deactivation on April 22, the 24th MEU is continuing its refitting and training process in preparation for its upcoming deployment.
