ABOARD USS KEARSARGE -- Marines and Sailors of the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit (24th MEU) boarded the USS Kearsarge, USS Ponce and USS Carter Hall March 9 as they began their participation in Joint Task Force Exercise (JTFEX)), Supporting Arms Coordination Exercise (SACEX) and Special Operations Capable Exercise (SOCEX).
The photos attached, taken by LCpl. Michael I. Gonzalez, capture some of the Marines onload to the USS Kearsarge.
The MEU will participate in the exercises consecutively through March 26.
