24th Marine Expeditionary Unit

U.S. Central Command Area of Responsibility -- Transportation Support Detachment, MEU Service Support Group 24, Marines 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit (Special Operations Capable) recently conducted counter ambush operations while training in the U.S. Central Command Area of Responsibility.Marines conducted training exercises on counter ambush techniques recently while at the same time engaging targets with .50 cal machine guns from Medium Tactical Vehicle Replacement (MTVR) and High Mobility Multi-Purpose Wheeled Vehicles (HMMWV).
