USS NASSAU AMPHIBIOUS READY GROUP, ATLANTIC OCEAN (Underway -- Training for the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit (Special Operation Capable) remains steady as they head through the Mediterranean Sea. Marines of Battalion Landing Team, 2nd Bn., 2nd Marines were able to Battle Sight Zero their weapons and hone their marksmanship skills during a live-fire exercise conducted on the flight deck of the USS Nassau (LHA-4).Marines had to contend with overcast skies, a strong wind, and a rocking surface during the exercise. All the sections of the battalion were able to participate and finished the exercise before noon.
