Drivers from all four major subordinate elements of the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit took advantage of an opportunity to get practice driving onto landing craft that will carry their vehicles from shore to ship and vice versa. The training, conducted at Onslow Beach allowed the drivers to practice backing their vehicles onto Landing Craft Utilities (LCU) and Landing Craft Air Cushions (LCAC). They also familiarized themselves with driving along the beach.
