Lance Cpl. Jason Burch, an electronic intelligence intercept analyst/operator, with the Command Element, 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit, is interviewed during the final phase of a meritorious corporal promotion board by fellow Marines Dec. 20, 2011, outside the 24th MEU’s headquarters building aboard Camp Lejeune, N.C. Burch, a native of Marysville, Calif., was one of five Marines who was evaluated on various Marine Corps-centric activities, such as uniform inspections, Marine Corps knowledge tests, combat fitness training, and drill.
