Marines and Sailors receive a range safety brief from 1st Lt. Justin Nabozna, the platoon commander for Weapons Company, 1st Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment, before firing M-224 Mortar Systems on Camp Lejeune, N.C. Aug. 18, 2011. The training served as an opportunity to maintain the unit’s new mortarmen's skills. The unit is currently scheduled to attach to the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit.
