Staff Sgt. Clint Michalek, team leader from Force Reconnaissance Platoon, 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit, accepts the 1st Place trophy on behalf of his team at the 2nd Annual Warrior Competition during an award ceremony hosted by King Abdullah II Special Operations Training Center (KASOTC) in Jordan May 9, 2010.  The Force Reconnaissance team, long with a team from the battalion reconnaissance platoon from Battalion Landing Team 1st Bn, 9th Marine Regt, (both assigned to the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit) competed in various events against Special Forces units from foreign countries, testing their communication, marksmanship and team work.  The 24th MEU is currently on a seven-month deployment with the Nassau Amphibious Ready Group, and is currently serving as the theatre reserve force for Central Command.
