Assault Amphibious Vehicles (AAVs) from the AAV platoon, Battalion Landing Team 1st Battalion, 9th Marine Regiment, 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit, prepare to "splash" into the ocean March, 22, 2010, to head to Djibouti for training exercises in the East African country.
