Marines and Sailors from the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit traverse the Atlantic Ocean towards USS Nassau aboard a Landing Craft, Utility Jan. 20 in preparation for their upcoming deployment. The 24th MEU works hand-in-hand with Nassau Amphibious Ready Group personnel, marking the onset of their six-month deployment. The 24th MEU is among the most versatile military units in the world and stands ready to perform a full spectrum of missions ranging from humanitarian relief to full-scale combat operations.
