Members of the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit’s Maritime Raid Force, a detachment from Force Reconnaissance Company, 2nd Reconnaissance Battalion, board and provide security during a visit, board, search and seizure exercise aboard a Navy Landing Craft Utility, Jan. 15, 2015. The MRF conducted the VBSS exercise from the amphibious dock landing ship USS Fort McHenry (LSD 43). The 24th MEU is embarked on the ships of the Iwo Jima Amphibious Ready Group and deployed to maintain regional security in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations.
