The event, located on 5th Avenue, served fresh hamburgers, hotdogs, chips, potato salad and various drinks to show their appreciation for the armed forces. During the reception, club members gave the Marines and sailors a tour of the facility, played billiards and exchanged their experiences of serving in the military.

The Marines and sailors of the 24th MEU arrived in New York harbor on the USS John F. Kennedy for the city’s annual Fleet Week celebrations, which highlights the sacrifices and achievements of the United States Armed Forces.
