Corporals Michael A. Hammond and Brandon L. Tharp, AV-8B Harrier engine mechanics, power line section, Marine Medium Tilt Rotor Squadron 162 (Reinforced), work together while draining fluid out of the engine of an AV-8B Harrier inside the hangar bay aboard USS Nassau, Feb. 3. These Marines, and several others, have been working on this engine around the clock for the past three days and estimate two more days of work before it will be back in action. Mechanics like these Marines are critical in keeping the aviation element of the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit operational while deployed. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Lance Cpl. David J. Beall)
