Marines learn new decontamination process aboard USS Saipan: Photo Essay

Marines from Marine Medium Helicopter Squadron 263, the Aviation Combat Element for the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit, and sailors from the USS Saipan spent the morning going over a new decontamination process for members of an air-crew.During the training, the Marines and sailors learned how to properly don the air-crew Nuclear Biological and Chemical protective gear and how to properly decontaminate an exposed person. After the demonstration, the sailors had the chance to actually walk through the process with the Marines in the ship's decontamination area.
