ABOARD USS KEARSARGE -- A few Marines and Sailors of the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit (Special Operations Capable), along with several members of the crew of the USS Kearsarge, paused from their exercise schedule July 4, to celebrate the independence of the United States of America.
The crew of the Kearsarge hosted several athletic events in recognition of the day, to include a three-on-three basketball tournament, several 5K races, two-person tag team push-ups and four-person 100-yard relay races.
