Bravo 1/2 completes Mechanized Raid Course: Photo Essay

Marines from the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit's Mechanized Company completed the mechanized raid Course at Camp Lejeune May 12. This training is part of the 24th MEU's Pre-deployment Training Program. During the training, Marines from Bravo Company, Battalion Landing Team 1st Bn., 2nd Marines - the Ground Combat Element for the 24th MEU - honed the skills needed to breach building entrances, engage simulated enemy combatants, and capture simulated weapons caches and enemy prisoners of war. Throughout the raids, other elements of Bravo Company provided security, roadblocks, and extracted simulated friendly and enemy casualties via Assault Amphibian Vehicles for the assault element.
