RHODES, Greece -- Marines and Sailors with the 24th MEU (SOC), and USS Kearsarge, participated in a community relations project June 20 at Agios Andreas (Saint Andrew's), a home for severely disabled children and adults.
Service members painted and landscaped to revive the outer look of the home. Additionally they socialized with patients to revive there spirit as well.
All present were rewarded with the satisfaction of a job well done and the fulfillment of helping a local community in our European theater of operations.
