Sergeant Major
Sergeant Major Jared Game

Sergeant Major Game enlisted in the Marine Corps December 1996 and reported to Marine Corps Recruit Depot, San Diego, California for recruit training in January 1997. Private First Class Game then attended Marine Combat Training at Camp Pendleton, California. He then reported to HMT-302 FREST, New River, North Carolina, where he earned the MOS of 6132 Helicopter Dynamic Component Mechanic.

In September 1997, he reported to Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron 39, Camp Pendleton, California. While with MALS-39, he was promoted through the ranks to Staff Sergeant. Holding multiple billets including, Work Center Supervisor, Production Control Chief, and Quality Assurance Chief. His qualifications included, Collateral Duty Inspector (CDI), Collateral Duty Quality Assurance Representative (CDQAR) and Quality Assurance Representative (QAR). He deployed with MALS-39 to include, January 2000, the 15th MEU, Operation Enduring Freedom and Restore Hope. January 2003, MALS-39, TAVB on the USNS CURTISS, OIF I. January 2004, he attached to HMH-769 in support of OEF. February 2006, HMM-268, OIF 5-7-1.

In December of 2006, Staff Sergeant Game requested and received orders to Drill Instructor duty at MCRD, San Diego. He was assigned to 1st Recruit Training Battalion, where he served as a Drill Instructor, Senior Drill Instructor, Series Chief Drill Instructor, and 1st Recruit Training Battalion Operations Chief.

Staff Sergeant Game returned to MALS-39 in January of 2010, as a Work Center Supervisor then Power Plants Division Chief. In August 2010, he was promoted to Gunnery Sergeant and deployed to Afghanistan in support of OEF. Gunnery Sergeant Game executed orders to MALS-36 Okinawa, Japan in March of 2013, as the Squadron Operations Chief, where he was selected for the rank of First Sergeant.

In March 2014, First Sergeant Game executed orders to 1st Tank Battalion, Company D, Twenty Nine Palms, California. In February 2015, He received orders to I MEF, Advise & Assist (A&A) Team 15.2, in support of OIR, and assumed the billet of Task Force Sergeant Major, Task Force Al Asad, Iraq, a Joint Coalition Task Force (none JMD) . In May 2016, he returned to 1st Tank Battalion, as the First Sergeant for Company C.

In June 2017, First Sergeant Game executed orders to Marine Corps Security Forces Battalion, Company A, Bangor, Washington. In November of 2017, he was selected for the rank of Sergeant Major.

In July of 2018, Sergeant Major Game executed orders as, Squadron Sergeant Major, Marine Fighter Attack Squadron 121 “Green Knights”, Marine Aircraft Group 12, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing, Iwakuni Japan.

In June of 2021, Sergeant Major Game executed orders to Headquarters Marine Corps as, Sergeant Major for Marine and Family Programs Division. In November of 2022, Sergeant Major Game was slated for the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit.

In January of 2023 Sergeant Major Game was appointed to his current billet as the Sergeant Major 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit.

Sergeant Major Game's personal awards include the Meritorious Service Medal with two gold stars, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal with one gold star, Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal, Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal and various other service and campaign medals.
